PH and health of water

What is the body's acid-base balance?

During the long-term evolution of life, the human body has formed a relatively stable internal environment that is weakly alkaline overall. The body's important fluid, blood, has a pH value of 7.35 to 7.45 in a healthy state and is weakly alkaline. The phenomenon of constant pH of the human body is called acid-base balance. Water plays an important role in regulating the body's acid-base balance.

Nutritional composition of pH-reacting water

The pH of water is determined by the dissolved minerals in the water. Natural water often contains potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, metasilicic acid and other minerals, which are mostly weakly alkaline. The water without these beneficial elements tends to be acidic. Therefore, weakly alkaline water is more in line with the human body's demand for nutrients than acidic water.
